Love is Satisfied in God

The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire.

Girls, we have come a long way with this dare. We have been forced to examine our hearts in many areas and to really draw close to God. However, there is one aspects of our lives that we haven't focused on yet, and that's spending real time with God in the form of a quiet time.
I love my husband, he holds my heart. However, if he and I lived together but never spoke or spent time together, I probably would not feel very close to him. Is this how you feel about God? Spending quality time with God is almost like a muscle that you have to exercise. It's hard at first - you have to stop your mind from thinking about everything else and focus. It takes practice and commitment - but the rewards of drawing closer to our Savior far outweigh any sacrifice that it takes.

"Be intentional today about making a time to pray and read your Bible. Try reading a chapter out of Proverbs each day (there are thirty-one - a full months supply), or reading a chapter in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John).
